Use or Lose Leave Report

This report displays employees who are projected to be in jeopardy of losing Annual and/or Personal Leave Balance hours based on their current Leave Balance(s).

  • This report displays data ONLY for employees whose leave balances are tracked through PHR, i.e. Exempt, Regular and Nonexempt, Regular employees whose FTE is greater than or equal to 50%.
  • Leave lost projections are based on the assumption that the employee takes no annual or personal leave between the current process date and the the end of the first pay period in the new calendar year.
  • It is highly recommended to run this report the last couple of months of every calendar year to ensure that your employees plan for leave appropriately. For calendar year 2014, employees will have until January 10, 2015 (end of Pay Period 14) to use any annual and/or personal leave that may be lost. As always, advance departmental approval to use this leave must be obtained.
