This three-course series designed for individual contributors (non-supervisors) is a powerful program that gives participants the knowledge and skills to help create an engaged and thriving workplace. Learners are exposed to new ideas and tools which help them recognize that they have they have the power to create the kind of work environment where everyone feels accepted, appreciated, respected, valued and connected.

Learning fee is $50 for each student per course. CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY: If you need to cancel, please do so by 9am two business days before the session.  Not doing so or ‘no showing’ will result in a $25 administration fee charged to the noted KFS account.

How to Register
All active courses are on the university’s training website: You will need your approving supervisor’s name and KFS # to complete the registration.

Keys 1-1: Keys to a Positive Workplace

This course gives participants the tools to help create the idea work environment—a place where everyone feels accepted, appreciated, respected, valued and connected. Learners apply a three-step tool to help them resolve issues in the workplace that empower them to be part of the solution rather than part of the problem.

Keys 1-2: Effective Communication Skills

The objective of this course is to help participants develop communication skills that builds trust and gives other people the opportunity to be heard and understood. Participants learn and apply a 7-step communication tool to effectively engage and communicate with other employees, managers or even customers.

Keys 1-3: Conflict as Opportunity

The purpose of this course is to equip employees with the insight, knowledge and skills to effectively resolve conflict in the workplace. Instead of viewing conflict as bad or stressful, we explore how to view conflict as a powerful opportunity for personal and organizational change. Participants learn and apply powerful tools which help them learn to put conflict into perspective and prepare them to resolve it in a healthy, productive way.
