The 6th Annual Good Neighbor Day service event is on April 1st and the Office of Community Engagement is excited to include a Food Drive again to support the College Park Community Food Bank.
The donation box for UHR will be located in the first floor breakroom of the Chesapeake Building. If you or a colleague are interested in hosting a donation box for your building or office, please send the following information to Sarah D’Alexander (firstname.lastname@example.org, x51941):
- The name, email, and phone number of the individual who can monitor the box
- The room number or specific description of where you would like to collect donations
The boxes will be put in place on March 10th and picked up on March 31st. Also, consider coming out and volunteering for Good Neighbor Day! Registration and project details can be found at GoodNeighborDay.umd.edu. The Office of Community Engagement looks forward to your participation!
