Student Employment

They also offer students a comfortable, familiar and supportive environment to cultivate important skills future employers will look for a such as leadership, problem-solving, communication and working as part of a team.

Handshake is the University Career Center’s online career management tool for University of Maryland students and alumni. Handshake can be accessed online or through the app store.
Federal Work Study is a federally funded employment program available to both undergraduate and graduate students who have financial need. If you receive Federal Work Study as a part of your financial aid packet, you should check their website for postings of part-time employment opportunities.
