Employment and Labor Posters

  • Equal Employment Opportunity Posters
    Every employer covered by the nondiscrimination and EEO laws is required to post on its premises the poster, “Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law.” The notice must be posted prominently, where it can be readily seen by employees and applicants for employment. The notice provides information concerning the laws and procedures for filing complaints of violations of the laws with the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).
  • Right to Work (PDF)
    A part of U.S. immigration laws protects legally-authorized workers from discrimination based on their citizenship status and national origin.
  • Federal Minimum Wage
    Every employer of employees subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s minimum wage provisions must post, and keep posted, a notice explaining the Act in a conspicuous place in all of their establishments so as to permit employees to readily read it.
  • State Minimum Wage (PDF)
    Most employees must be paid the Maryland State Minimum Wage Rate.
  • Federal FMLA (PDF)
    Provides an entitlement of up to 12 weeks of job-protected, unpaid leave during any 12-month period to eligible, covered employees for the following reasons: 1) birth and care of the eligible employee’s child, or placement for adoption or foster care of a child with the employee; 2) care of an immediate family member (spouse, child, parent) who has a serious health condition; or 3) when the employee is unable to work due to his or her own serious health condition.

  • USERRA
    Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act
  • Collective Bargaining (PDF)
    The NLRA guarantees the right of employees to organize and bargain collectively with their employers, and to engage in other protected concerted activity.
  • E-Verify Participant (PDF)
    This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Know Your Rights: Workplace Discrimination is Illegal
    Federal laws prohibiting job discrimination based on race, color, sex (including pregnancy and related conditions, sexual orientation, or gender identity), national origin, religion, age (40 and older), equal pay, disability or genetic information (including family medical history or genetic tests or services), and retaliation for filing a charge, reasonably opposing discrimination, or participating in a discrimination lawsuit, investigation, or proceeding.
