Retiree Engagement Program

University of Maryland College Park retirees wishing to return to the university in a staff contractual (Contingent Category 1 or Contingent Category 2) capacity have the opportunity to receive personalized outreach and support from University Human Resources Talent Acquisition.

Stay/Exit Interview Resource Guide

Stay interviews and exit interviews serve different purposes in the employee lifecycle, but they can complement each other in providing valuable insights into employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

Career Preparation Resource Guide (Staff)

The Career Preparation Resource Guide is available to create a more dynamic, engaged, and adaptable workforce, offering DIY career development resources. One-on-one meetings, for current University of Maryland College Park staff employees, with University Human Resources Talent Acquisition are optional and adapted to the needs of each staff member.

Pre-Onboarding Resources

University Human Resources (UHR) Talent Acquisition (TA) created pre-onboarding packets to guide the supervisors and new staff employees through their pre-onboarding process, from the time the offer letter is signed to the first day. The full onboarding project of 2025 will fully utilize new features and enhancements of Workday and is still in the design phase.
