One of the biggest benefits you get from being a University of Maryland employee (or retiree) is Tuition Remission. This program allows employees, spouses, and dependents the opportunity to take classes at a University System of Maryland (USM) institution with waived tuition.
The Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 semesters are coming up quickly. If you, your spouse, or your dependents are attending UMD, we want to make sure you’re aware of upcoming UMD Tuition Remission deadlines.
- January 22: UMD application deadline for the Winter 2025 semester
- February 28: UMD application deadline for the Spring 2025 semester
