As the world celebrates Pride Month 2024, Newsweek has named the University of Maryland in its 2024 list of America’s Greatest Workplaces for LGBTQ+ employees.
With a Fearlessly Forward mindset, UMD is proud to be acknowledged as an inclusive and supportive workplace for its entire campus community. UMD has received a five star rating and is one of seven higher education institutions to receive this recognition.
This acknowledgement comes shortly after UMD was added to Newsweek’s 2024 list of America's Greatest Workplaces for Women and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Employees for Diversity.
