Position Summary:
Organization's Summary Statement:
This position is a member of the executive management team and is responsible for the strategic, operational, and financial direction of the School. Works in close partnership with other deans and executive officers of the University. Provides leadership and vision for the School. Encourages effective collaborative relationships. Articulates with enthusiasm the School’s mission to students, faculty, staff, alumni, public agencies, and potential funders. Fosters an environment of excellence in teaching and learning.
Manages a team of professional and support staff. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Fifteen (12) years of professional experience managing education business operations. Eight (8) years of experience supervising or managing professional staff. Knowledge of business acumen to understand key business drivers, organizational communications, and data.
Knowledge of organizational and unit performances measures.
Knowledge of the impact and implications of decisions on leadership objectives.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Skill in data analytics and negotiation.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to research information and analyze complex data and information to create reports and presentations.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
Ability to develop and administer new policies and procedures.
Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
