System Modules
Affiliates Module
The Affiliates Module is a separate module of PHR that was implemented on March 31, 2006. It provides a single, integrated system to collect information on affiliates, and meet the need for all units to manage affiliate information and the services to be provided to them.
Employee and Appointment Module
The Employee and Appointment Module of PHR handles the setup of an employee for pay, time entry & leave management and human resource tracking. All paid and non-paid employees must be entered into PHR, which is the system of record for employee data. Data from this system is used for official campus reporting by the Office of Institutional Research, Planning & Assessment.
Pay Adjustments Module
The Time and Leave Adjustments module of PHR handles the recording and processing of time, leave and premium adjustments, after a pay period has been closed and locked. This module can only be used to record changes that should have been recorded during a previous pay period.
Pay Calculations Module
The combination of appointment information, time entry information, and pay adjustment information come together in the PHR “Pay Calculation” module.
Time Entry Adjustments Module
The Time and Leave Adjustments module of PHR handles the recording and processing of time, leave and premium adjustments, after a pay period has been closed and locked.
Time Entry Module
The Time Entry Module of PHR handles time entry and leave management for the following employment types: regular exempt, regular nonexempt, Contingent 2, Contingent 1, hourly students, hourly faculty and officers. All faculty (excluding category 25 contractual) will use the PHR Faculty Leave Reporting System.
